Bukayo Saka Achieves Career Milestone, Emulating an Arsenal Legend
England international Bukayo Saka, the rising star of Arsenal, marked a significant achievement against Tottenham on Sunday at the latter’s stadium, during the 35th round of Premier League matches.
Saka furthered Arsenal’s lead by scoring the second goal in the 27th minute, following Emile Smith Rowe’s accidental own goal against Spurs in the 15th minute.
According to Opta statistics network, Saka has now netted 15 goals in the English Premier League this season, marking his highest tally ever in a single season of the competition.
The network also notes that Saka becomes the first English player to score both home and away goals for Arsenal against Tottenham in a single season in the league since Ian Wright achieved the feat in the 1993-1994 season.
