Phil Foden on Phil Bellingham: “I’ve never seen someone his age so mature”
Manchester City and England star Phil Foden has spoken about his compatriot Jude Bellingham, the Real Madrid star, confirming that he is more mature than usual for someone of his age.
Following his team’s exit from the quarter-finals of the Champions League at the hands of Real Madrid, the City star said, “I feel he has a God-given gift in his body. In truth, we want him to be at his best levels in order for us to win the UEFA Euro Championship. I’ve never seen anyone before at his age so mature.”
Foden also confirmed in an interview with the Daily Mail that his goal against the royal team at the Santiago Bernabeu stadium is one of the best goals he has scored in his career. The young striker (23 years old) pointed out that the Citizens should have won their match against Real Madrid at the Etihad Stadium after creating many chances, but that’s football.
Foden, alongside Bellingham, is one of the players England relies on to try to win the Euro 2024 championship, which will be held in Germany.
